Consumer Assistance

Media6° uses proprietary technology to make the ads shown to consumers more relevant to their interests. To accomplish this, Media6°, like many other Internet advertising technologies, uses “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that contain a string of alphanumeric characters. Media6° cookies are generated and stored on people’s computers when that computer’s Internet browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Firefox) views one of our online advertisements. The Media6° cookie does not include your name, address, phone number, email address, or any personally identifiable information. We use cookies to help us track the effectiveness of our online advertisements and to select the best ads to serve.

If you would like to remove and/or opt out of Media6° cookies you can do so in one of three ways:

  • Clearing them manually from your browser using the method specified by the browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) that you are using
  • Using the automated Media6° process listed on this site as “Opt-out of Media6° cookies”
  • Visiting the site of the Network Adverting Initiative (NAI), a group of leading Internet companies that have worked with the Federal Trade Commission to establish standards concerning the appropriate use of cookies in Internet advertising. The NAI maintains an opt-out procedure which can be used to remove the cookies associated with members of the NAI including Media6°. To access this service please visit the NAI at: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp
