Joe Doran
Founder/CEO
Prior to Media6°, Joe spent 9 years at Microsoft in a variety of senior roles including Chief of Staff at MSN and, from 2003 to 2008, General Manager of Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions. In this position Joe was responsible for product management for all advertising products and technologies at Microsoft (including Microsoft AdCenter, Microsoft PubCenter, the Display Ad Platform, Massive, and AdECN, among others) as well as serving as the lead spokesperson for advertising technology and solutions at Microsoft. As General Manager, Joe set the broad strategic direction for the advertising business and also led Microsoft’s acquisition and integration strategy for the many advertising based businesses purchased by Microsoft including Massive, ScreenTonic, DeepMetrix, AdECN and aQuantive.
Prior to Microsoft, Joe was at General Mills in brand management and before that a Captain in the United States Army, 7th Infantry Division.
Joe is a graduate of West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Harvard Business School where he concentrated in Entrepreneurship and Finance. [ back to top ]
David Honig
Founder
David comes to Media6° from Didit Search Marketing where he led that firm’s innovative efforts to integrate search and display advertising for leading e-commerce brands. A few months after joining Didit in 2006, David brought to market the SearchConnect retargeting platform which was awarded the ClickZ Marketing Excellence Award in 2006. Earlier in his career, David was the Director of List Services at MaxOnline prior to that company’s acquisition by IAC. From 1999-2002 David held a variety of roles at DoubleClick including National Sales Manager for Email List Services and Senior Account Manager at Doubleclick’s Sonar Network where he was recognized, in 2001, as the “Most Valuable Team Member” and the top sales performer. David is frequently published in leading trade journals such as ClickZ, WebProNews and MediaPost. He is also the 2008 “Behavioral Insider” columnist for OMMA Magazine.

Kathy Leake
Founder
Kathy Leake has 18 years of advertising experience with 13 years in interactive and 5 years in traditional advertising. She was most recently Global Vice President of Business Development at Agency.com and was responsible for generating 30-35% of the company’s top-line revenue—driving revenue to offices globally: New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Milan. Under her leadership, the sales team brought in multiple top tier clients and consistently exceeded their sales targets. Clients included: Del Monte, CNN, Maidenform, Energizer, Ask.com, Food Network, Choice Hotels, Marriott, Barclays, Heineken and Nestle.
Prior to Agency.com, Kathy worked at Red Sky Interactive in San Francisco running business development and marketing. She also worked at one of the industry’s first online site representation firms, WebRep. While at WebRep, Kathy headed a division that worked to invent new models of online advertising, growth strategies, integrated online advertising opportunities and provided strategic direction to web site clients on commercial viability.
Kathy started her career in traditional advertising at DDB Needham in media planning for the Entertainment Group and was responsible for budgets of $120 million a year. She also worked at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide in the Czech Republic.
